One theme that you will be asked to explore is the theme of Gender Inequality.
Look for examples in the play where it is clear that Sophoclean Society was in fact a male dominated society. Identify at least 2 examples and provide a concrete example and quote to support your examples. Think about the characters' behavior and speech.

The 7 Types of Conflict in Literature are:
Man v. Man
Man v. Nature
Man v. Society
Man v. Fate
Man v. Self
Man v. Supernatural
Man v. Machine
Identify two types of conflict seen so far in the play and describe the conflict in one paragraph. Provide a concrete example, quote and in -text citation to support your response. You can choose character and line numbers (Creon, 230-233). OR.... You can choose author and page (Sophocles 1256).
