Great Job Today Scholars!
Alvarez and her story "WWOC" has certainly shed light on many of the themes and conflicts discussed in today's lecture.
I looked at the TIMELINE and decided to allow YOU to read " Children Of The Sea" ON YOUR OWN.. for the sake of time. I will not have time to cover it in class. However, you are prepared to read it independently based on the last two lectures and MY PPT.
"Children Of The Sea" It is a short story that relates to the theme of "Silence" Discussed today . Dandicat's story is posted as a link to the right of this post. You can click on her photo and read about the author in addition to reading the story. It is a very powerful story.
