Literature is meant to serve a purpose:
ART, POETRY, PLAYS (DRAMA) and MOVIES
Literature is a medium or vessel that allows for many facets of expressive ideas. Many of which the author intends. As we read Antigone by Sophocles, think about the authors purpose. Think about the protagonist and how Sophocles chooses to depict her in the play.
There will be an introduction to Antigone on Thursday 1/27
Reading and Writing Assignment will be posted on 1/27 and due on 2/1. * Please be sure to have your book in class by Thursday 1/27.
